Our Office

Located in Tampa, FL, we specialize in family, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. Our advanced training, leading edge technology and unconditional commitment to excellence allows us to service our patients in a comforting, caring, and relaxing environment. Excellent dentistry is more than great clinical skills and state-of-the-art equipment. Meet our Team

Dr. Nicole Mitchell

General Dentist and Practice Owner

Dr. Nicole Mitchell is a native of Connecticut who moved to Tampa and graduated from Gaither High School. After high school she attended the University of South Florida where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry and went on to the University of Florida where she received her DMD degree. After graduating she served in the United States Army were she was able to obtain advanced dental training and was stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. Following the military Dr. Mitchell has been serving the New Tampa area since 2006. Dr. Mitchell takes pride in building patient relationships and doing her very best to cater to every patient’s needs. She is dedicated to the newest advancements in dentistry and keeps up to date with latest technologies.

Kayli

Business Manager

Kayli is originally from Valparaiso, IN. She moved to the Tampa area in May of 2022 for a change of scenery. Kayli graduated from Valparaiso University with a B.A. in Music Performance (’19) and an M.A. in Arts and Entertainment Administration (’20). In addition to her knowledge of the music field, Kayli has previous experience in behavioral health. She looks forward to bringing knowledge from these two subjects into the field of dentistry.
Outside of the office, Kayli enjoys spending her free time with her boyfriend, Joseph, and cats, Mashed Potato and Pumpkin Pie. Her hobbies include playing video games, cooking, and being outside. Kayli still teaches private piano and voice lessons as a side gig and performs as a Soprano 2 in the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, premier choir of The Florida Orchestra.

Doreen

Benefits Coordinator

Doreen is originally from Tampa, Florida, though she has lived all over the US and as well as in England for 4 years. Doreen has over 30+ years of customer service and administrative experience. She has worked in various industries, such as Bank of America, Intel, Orthopedic Surgery offices, Orthodontics, and General Dentistry. In her spare time, Doreen enjoys spending time with her three granddaughters. She is also an avid follower of all of Tampa’s sports; “Go Bucs, Rays, and Bolts!” She enj

Shayne

Patient Liaison, Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Shayne graduated from Florida College of Medical and Dental Assisting. She has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of dentistry. She continues to take continuing education courses and grow in knowledge and expertise. She loves her field and the joy of changing smiles and educating her patients as well as making sure we meet their needs.
She is a native Floridian, she loves spending time with her family, especially her husband (Ray) they love camping, boating, fishing, riding motorcycles, and she also loves singing.

Joe

Accounts and Claims Specialist

Joseph, a Florida native, joined the office in late 2024 with a diverse skill set that includes dental claims administration, billing, and IT expertise. A true “jack of all trades,” he is certified in CompTIA IT Fundamentals (2023) and Adobe Suite, and is currently working toward CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications. Joseph’s abilities range from providing IT support and system maintenance to leading teams in operational settings. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with Kayli and their cats, as well as working on his Toyota 4Runner.

Anna

Certified Registered Dental Hygienist

Anna was born in Brandon and now currently lives in Dade City. She graduated from Pasco-Hernando State College. Anna enjoys spending time with her patients and helping them with their oral hygiene. She makes it her mission to make every patient feel at home while treating them with respect and care.
In her free time, you can find her at the beach, longboarding, and spending time with family and friends.

Amber

Certified Registered Dental Hygienist

Amber graduated from Pasco-Hernando State College with her degree in dental hygiene and a certification in administering local anesthesia. Her goal is to provide the best care and education while ensuring she builds a relationship with each patient.
In her spare time, you can find Amber spending time with her dogs, horse and goats or hanging out with her family.

Diane

Certified Registered Dental Hygienist

Diane is a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in both Florida and Illinois, with advanced certification in administering local anesthesia. She brings over 15 years of experience to our practice and has worked in a wide range of dental settings, including general dentistry and periodontics.

Diane is skilled in modern dental technology and procedures, including digital X-rays, 3D imaging, periodontal therapy, and patient education. She believes the best dental care comes from a team-based approach and takes pride in creating a comfortable, trusting environment for every patient. Her goal is to help patients feel at ease while providing thorough, compassionate care tailored to their individual needs.

Rali

Registered Dental Hygienist​

Rali is an dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist with over 12 years dedicated to promoting oral health and preventing periodontal disease. She earned her Dental Hygiene degree from West Los Angeles College in 2013. In September 2024, Rali relocated to Tampa, Florida, and is thrilled to bring her expertise and commitment to exceptional care to Blue Water Dental. She remains focused on prevention, patient education, and delivering compassionate care—continuing to advocate for healthy smiles and overall well-being.  

Brittany

Expanded Function Dental Assistant, Restorative Function Dental Assistant

Brittany received her dental assisting certificate in Expanded functions from Sanford Brown Institute in Tampa, Florida, and her certificate in Restorative Functions from the University of Florida. She has 4 years of experience working in the dental field and is continuing to grow and learn new things every day. She loves working with patients making them feel better about themselves by having a healthy smile. She feels accomplished when she can make a patient feel comfortable and smile with confidence.
Born and raised in Florida, Brittany loves quality family time. She loves the beach, theme parks, family activities, and just being busy outdoors with anything productive.

Alexus

Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Alexus received her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification from Suncoast Career Academy. She is passionate about continuing to grow in the dental field and expanding her knowledge each day. Alexus enjoys working closely with patients and takes pride in helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit. With her bright smile and wonderful laughter, she brings a sense of positivity and warmth to the office each day.

Born and raised in Florida, Alexus loves spending time outdoors—especially going fishing. She enjoys quality time with family and friends and makes the most of Florida’s sunshine whenever she can.

Max and Mandi

In January of 2016, we welcomed to the office nine week old Max and Mandi. Named after the Maxillary and Mandibular jaw, these therapy dogs were trained for the purpose of providing comfort and kindness to our patients. In accordance with the ADA, these Maltese Shih Tzu companions have been statistically shown to reduce stress and anxiety in patients as well as improving mental and physiological health.
Alongside roaming the office, Max and Mandy enjoy sitting on the laps of patients during their dental procedures. While both dogs are of the same breed, they have very unique personalities. Max is very active and playful while Mandi is more calm and sweet. Together the siblings work to brighten your day as we brighten your smile. If Max and Mandi are in during your next visit, please feel free to pick them up and hold them at any time. Not only are Max and Mandi hypoallergenic, but these loving lap dogs are part of our ongoing commitment to making your experience with our office the very best.
